They are used in sacrifice and differ in shape: being respectively (as some describe them) round, square, semicircular, triangular, and lotus - shaped. dhruvà, shaped like an Indian fig-leaf (Ficus Indica) and made of the wood of Flacourtia sapida; upabhçta, a round vessel made of the wood of a holy fig-tree (F. religiosa); juhu, a semicircular vessel made of the wood of Butea (B. frondosa); sruvaþ, a ladle of Chadira wood (Mimosa Catechu); sruk, same with the last, though some distinguish it."
